What factors make a watch too big?
Discussion
I've got fairly hefty wrists and forearms, 42mm is about as small as I feel comfortable wearing. 44-46mm is perfect for my every day, 47mm Panerai feels a bit big but not ridiculous etc. I'm sure others would think they're too chunky but I don't buy watches for other people to admire
It's just what you're used to I guess. I've always preferred bigger watches with some weight to them. It's often a curse, as there's some beautiful smaller dress watches that I know I'd never enjoy despite adoring them.
