I own a Ceramic Rado which is about 15 yrs old I think and its truly scratchless as can be seen below. Whatever they make these watches from it is certainly tough, although I havent tried grinding it down a concrete wall...
If you're into buying one be wary of chinese knock offs on ebay - they might as well be made of chocolate they are so soft.
Also, I've often noticed that a certain Mr James May on the Tele seems to have a decent collection of watches, including a ceramic black Rado .. funny how he talks about all his other passions but I've never noticed him banging on about watches. Yet.
