We don't seem to have a thread for watches that we just fancy talking about?!

Not something that's incoming, not on your wrist, and not under £200... Just something that takes your fancy.

For example I really like the look of this new Christopher Ward at the moment.. c60 anthropocene.. with a 'frosted' dial.

Think it looks pretty good... Even the CW branding is a little better than it used to be... decent spec and £850

What are you lusting after / had your head turned by / interested in?!

This is just what I intended for this thread... loads of watches that I really like... but not enough to actually splash a small fortune on.. of particular note so far... the Moser, the ressence and the Tudor panda..

I was in Meadowhall today... The large Beaverbrooks thats there has had a bit of a revamp, split part of the shop of into a dedicated Tudor store, but also the main bit also had a decent selection of Grand Seiko in the window, along with a range of Doxa which I've never seen in a mainstream jewellers before.

Also due to open in the new year a dedicated Breitling and an omega boutique.

Happy days for watch browsing!

The large goldsmith's had a few Rolex in the window, all of course for display only.

Goodness me this is making me go all wobbly at the knees at the moment....

41mm - either green face or blue face but on a brown leather strap.

My mate has this on the bracelet and it doesn't disappoint.

I almost always would choose a bracelet over a strap but in this case I think it looks much better on the brown leather.

Blimey - i'm not one for a busy watch face, or too many complications... particularly a moonphase... but will you look at this... it's stunning.

The want on this one is getting stronger... was passing through Heathrow this morning... luckily they only had the blue faced one on the bracelet otherwise it could have been a costly visit....

The green is the boutique edition right? They are nice. Was with a friend who was quite taken with it when he tried one on a few months a go.
Ah didn’t realise green was boutique only. On the plus side it’ll slow down the inevitable…

I see alot of love for Farer on here & elsewhere.... i just don't see the attraction, they do nothing for me., don't think I can find one design / colourway that works.
