I'm looking to buy a watch soon and have been looking around for something that looks funky but at the same time not so garish or formal that I can't ware it day-to-day......
I was looking at some hamiltons (x-wind) but the current front runner is:

Any thoughts?

Yes I thought of the badge thing and was also looking at omega:

or the orange planet ocean, but that might be too big.

at that money I'd consider a Seiko Springdrive? Maybe the badge snobbery thing might count against it though!
Yes a Seiko Srpingdrive could be on the cards...... I'm looking at an Oris so badge snobbery isn't an issue smile

Where in London can you get them from?

To the OP - If you can, get yourself down to bond st, london, and have a look at the shops there. You'll see a huge selection as all the big boys are there - you're bound to see something that makes you drool! Just hope it's within budget!! biggrin PS - Don't forget to push for a discount! wink
Yes, the problem so far has been that most things that make me drool are out of budget..... I work in Oxford Circus so I've been looking around. This will be my first automatic so I wanted to get something funky that I can ware everyday.

I think the larger branches of Goldsmiths have them.
I think I remember seeing one on this forum, it had a black face with a silver moon phase on it, I did like that (tho I can't find the pic at the moment).
