I've realised I need something I can bash about again after selling my Sub last year and buying an IWC Pilot's Chrono shortly afterwards. The IWC is fantastic for daily wear in the office but I can't help feeling it's too fragile to wear during the weekends when it's likely to get knocked about a bit. I never get it wet and tend to leave it on the bedside table at the weekend.

So, I need something I can wear where it's likely to get wet and bashed around a bit.

So, do I do what a friend of mine found so hilarious and spend £2k on a second hand GMTII to stop my other £2000 watch getting knocked? hehe That said, it's my favourite option, does anyone know of a GMTII for sale that's already a bit rough around the edges? I'm loathe to pay top money for a mint one as I'm only going to bash it around.

Or, shall I go for an unknown quantity? I like the Sinn 756 UTC or there's the GMT look-a-likes that EmaS produce but the EmaS offerings seem a bit cheap. I've only seen one Sinn in the flesh, on the wrist of someone I meet through work now and again. Do they even have any dealers in London?

I'd thought about Omegas. They're cheap second hand too... scratchchin

Anyone got a photo of a Seamaster on a rubber/nylon strap? My wrists are too small to suit metal bracelets and I need something I can get wet.

Seamaster looks like a good option then.

I'm not a fan of Breitlings in general I'm afraid.

Decided to go for a black face/bezel Seamaster, preferably on rubber.

Anyone know of a second hand one available? They seem to sell for about £500 in the US.

I'd looked at Sinn's too, a friend of my brother has just bought one too, but they're all too similar to my IWC really.
