I'm am a collector of watches but have noticed some distinct quality issues recently. Omega, IWC, Tag, Tutima, Zenith, Rolex. I have some horror stories that will give you nightmares. Is this something to do with mass production or am I a perfectionist? Please let me know if you have noticed dials not lining up, markers on subdials skewed. Dust particles and other things on dials. Chronograph hands not setting to zero. Chronograph hands not pointing to relevant markers on sub dials when counting hours and minutes. Don't look too carefully you may be shocked!

If the watch isn't perfect, then I don't accept it?
I have not accepted any of them but I am getting annoyed with problems obtaining a quality watch. I think I will stop collecting new watches. Rejected 3 IWC Aquatimer 2000, 1 IWC Aquatimer chrono, 1 Omega Seamaster chrono, 2 Tag Aquagraphs, 2 Tutima Pilot chronographs and others recently. I can not be the only one spotting things!

Not really sure what ShadownINja means. I'm not talking about design. I'm suggesting that the watch manufactures standards of quality control are poor. Design is one thing but when a bloody chronograph second hand will not set to zero or you notice a small hair on the internal rotating bezel on a £3000 titanium divers watch. That's different!

I literally have pissed myself laughing in the middle of a coach after reading that.

My Rolex's are all fine quality wise, nothing out of place, although one stopped talking to me last friday when I didn't polish it's face with fresh jizz as I usually do every other day. I found that odd.
Do we have a genuine Rolex troll?

Ok horror stories is perhaps a bit strong but not much! I don't have time to list my technical and not so technical problems with these bloody watches. I have, however, lost sleep and if being accused of having magnetic properties does not sum it up then I may have to list more details! No, I'm not joking! Perhaps Rolex trolls have mercury for blood or these watch manufacturers have a fat book of watchmaker's ########!
