Hi, I have a 4 year old Speedmaster Professional which is a bit under the weather. The stopwatch is permanently on and the button is unable to be depressed to stop it. The rest of the watch is working fine but it is very annoying not being able to turn it off.

My question is does anyone know where I could get this fixed or should I send it to Omega? I was quoted by a Omega dealer is London £300 for a service! I wasn't expecting it to be cheap but I was imagining around £200. Anyone had any experience with this before?

Cheers guys!

It was actually the Omega dealer at the Shepherds Bush Westfield. I will try Bond Street though.

The price of it is sure going to sting, but if it comes back looking fresh then that is a bonus I agree.

Thanks for the help with this one guys. Looks like it's going to hurt my wallet but at least my Speedy will be back to full health!

Cheers for that. I will contact them later.

So Swiss Time Services are well thought of then? I contacted them yesterday and they replied fairly quickly saying that I would have to post the watch to them first before they could get any idea of how much it would cost. Would have thought they'd be able to give some indication of a ballpark price? But then I'm no expert!
