Or was it never there to start with?

There's one in the window at Ernest Jones in Welwyn Garden City, priced at list. It's the first time I've ever seen a new SS Rolex dive watch in an AD shop window.

It doesn't look quite as overbearing in the flesh as it does in pics, but still a very hefty chunk of metal.

Gary.

What 'bubble'? Can't people buy them because they like them, not because they are rare, likely to increase in value or be fashionably 'now'??
I said "bubble" because when they came out, some speculators were asking up to £10k for them. And even now Blowers are asking almost £1k over list.

So I was surprised to see one in a shop window at list price.

And like it or not, Rolex do appear to cynically manipulate the market on some models by artificially limiting supply. But if they tried this on the Deepsea it doesn't appear to be working.
