Expected discount on new U Boat Classico

I'm looking at purchasing a new U Boat Classico (45mm, black face, tan strap). There are very few dealers around so are they less or more inclined to haggle a bit on price?

Does anyone have an idea on what may be realistic with a bit of negotiation?

Oh, ok thats interesting feedback - why do they attract such a big hit in value from new - not desirable enough?

I wouldn't really say its an investment watch more something I can enjoy wearing - I really like the design - and the Panerai is a bit more than I want to spend at the moment!

Good pre-owned companies out there? Any recomendations?

Thanks Andy. I'm almost sorry to hear that - I thought they had a bit of quality and heritage to them.

Oh well, maybe I will chuck a bit more in the kitty and splash out on the Luminor after all!

Well, that's exactly what I did via Jura online at 09:00am this morning!

Canteen style 45mm with black face, silver case but I have asked them to customise it with a brown/tan strap as this was the colour combo I liked on the U Boat.

I will whack some pics up when it arrives (tomorrow apparently!).

Arrived at 11:00am this morning. Great service from Jura - who also swapped the black strap for a brown one on my request.

Should keep me going until the Panerai comes on the scene....
