Just done a deal for this baby & should have it Wednesday

I've wanted a brushed finish MO for a while, but you don't see many of the brushed versions around compared to the polished, so when I got offered this tonight, it was an easy decision.

Very chuffed.

Congratulations - a lovely watch and I'm still fond of mine (polished) despite it not getting a lot of wrist time.

Is it on a Toshi? I haven't seen one on such a thick strap before.
Cheers

Yes, it is coming on a Toshi + the original strap. Like you, not seen one on such a thick strap, but I think it looks pretty good in the photo's & I can always swap it if it doesn't suit.

They are big, so do need a fairly substantial strap, though I agree I'm not convinced that a Toshi is quite right for the MO.

I had mine on a navy blue Rios alligator, that looked pretty good.

As for price, in case Andy prefers not to answer, I will tell you that I sold mine for £550, about six months ago but I think prices have been rising since then.
The Toshi may not suit the watch - I'll see. I have plenty of other straps to try with it, if not.

I don't mind spilling the beans on price. I was offered first refusal by a TZ-UK member before he put it on the Sales Corner.

I paid £700 (against £725 asked) which I’m happy with as although the saving against brand new isn’t huge, the price includes the Toshi & RMSD. The watch was new in Feb this year and has only been worn once or twice. Saves the 6 – 8 month waiting time vs ordering new too.

Actually wearing the Stowa as I type. The seller actually lives quite close me and was kind enough to drop it round this evening.
I've swapped the Toshi for a brown Di-Modell Jumbo, but I have a couple of black straps that work quite well with it too.
I'll try to get some pics of my own at the weekend, but for now, I'm well chuffed.

No, but I have to admit the macro shot does make it look that way.
