Hermes Grand Prix 'driver's watch'
Discussion
Hi there watch experts. I've seen a c. 1940s 'driver's watch' for sale - i.e curved back to be worn on the side of the wrist and 12 o clock where 3 would usually be and so on so that you can tell the time wihtout taking your hand off the wheel of your Lancia.....
It's badged 'Hermes Grand Prix' on the face. It's a lovely looking thing but I believe that Hermes sold watches made by others in this period and wondered whether anyone has experience of the movement - good, bad or indifferent.
Any advice gratefully received
