If Watch brands were Cars...

hmm, interesting. Just been browsing this forum as I'm toying with the idea of a 'proper' watch after stumbling into the watch room at Harrods by mistake and spending rather too long there then I suspect was good for my wallet. Trying to build a picture of what a watch might say about the wearer but it's pretty hard as there's face value (pardon the pun) vs what those in the know, know. Ultimately neither matter as much as whether I felt the style was 'me', but useful to get a picture and you've got to learn taste from somewhere...
Rolex too 'obvious' somehow and not enough edge for me. Omega bit to common/brash, Breitling too 'busy', Most Tag's feel a bit too chunky. Raymond Weil or IWC or Jaeger seem more in the ball park.
