Well, after much "umming and arring" and going from a Tag Carrera, to a Grand Carrera, I eventually settled on an Omega Speedmaster Broad Arrow. Over the moon (!) with my choice - really sits well!

EHasler bought the same watch a few weeks ago and it was his and Stuart's "light persuasion", and kindly allowing me to wear their Speedmasters for a couple of hours, that sealed the deal.

I bought from Dominic H after being widely recommended to him by a few of you lovely chaps on here and was very happy as a result thumbup

I'm chuffed with the exhibition back; I can't stop looking at it! Is there anywhere that discusses the movemenet (3313) in great detail?

Anyhow, I'm wearing the watch everyday though after a week now I think I'm going to get another link removed, slightly too loose I think, ever so slightly. I did ask a guy in Goldsmiths his opinion on the bracelet size and he said I have it perfect; able to just get a finger into the gap, but as I have such thin wrists it still tends to fall and slip to the side.

So, a couple of (quickly taken) shots thumbup

A happy Tony

Thanks smile

I've had a look and don't think there's any half links, but there does seem to be a little movement on the end of the clasp - 3 holes of which mine's in the middle so where a link is 6/7mm, the clasp movement is perhaps 2/3mm so I can play about with it to smaller degrees I think!

Thanks chaps smile

All the links look the same size to me; are you saying that there should be one that looks half the size (if you see what I mean?).

There might be one in the box still for the old ilnks - if so i could take a full one out and put a half one in thumbup

Can you not see the movemeent in my 2nd picture?

Can you move the clasp end link around yourself, or is that a jeweller's job also?

Yeah, I like to keep these things quiet you know smile Seriously though, thanks for the advice thumbup
