Anyone know anything about these watches?

Are they cheap tat or acceptable quality?

I've been tempted by the look of one of these at the around £120 mark. I'm not expecting exquisite quality, but how do they compare to say, a Rotary, in the same price bracket?

They have "Germany" on the dial and case back, but on their, German language only, website the contact address is in Wakefield Yorkshire.confused So are they some cheap far-eastern movement & case that's assembled in Germany or what?

A colleague in work bought one of those watch brands advertised in The Times and onther papers a few years ago as "a £450 timepiece for £100". 5 years later, it doesn't work and can't be repaired as it does not have a recognised movement.
I've actually got something similar, a Claude Valentini.
RRP: £495
On Your wrist: £149.95
Special offer: £99.95

I paid £30 for mine and 10 years later it still keeps perfect time.

£495, or even £99.95 would have been a rip-off, but it's acceptable quality for a £30 watch, and that's what I'm asking about the Burgmeister watches: Are they acceptable quality for £120?
