First post folks so hello first of all, as the title suggests it's my 21st soon (towards the end of May). I'm looking to purchase my first 'proper' watch, I've been milling about on PH for a while now so I know there's been hundreds of topics like these so I apologise 
Now I'm not James Bond or a professional diver but some of the watches on here look a little to easy to break and as I'm going to have it permamently attached to me I do need something relativly tough. Doesn't need to be a divers watch but I'll leave the suggestions up to you.
I'll probably be stretching to just over a grand and I'm not a huge fan of watches with lots of details. The Sinn U1 I like but I'd love to have a choice...
