Well I did...

I bought my SMP Bond in February

I traded it in towards a Breitling Chronomat shortly after and instantly regretted it.

So today I replaced it, not exactly the same, but I went for the blue version this time so as not to have exactly the same watch...

I introduce to you, my new SMP Bond.

Cheers mate, originally went for the black one as they were both the same price and the black one was the latest. I really didn't know which one to go for this time, but fate dealt me this one and I went for it.

I had the black one before and always thought it was a very classy looking watch, I went for it purely because it was 'newer' but I definitely had a sweet spot for the blue one.

Bit less dressy and probably a bit more showy too - but I love it.

They're most definitely a timeless design aren't they!

I sold my black one and literally within a couple of hours of posting it I was absolutely gutted. Even when I received the Breitling, it just didn't ease that horrible feeling in my stomach. These things are £2080 now and I knew I really couldn't justify going out and spending that on a replacement. Luckily this came up at just over half that price on TZ UK and I couldn't resist.

What was the reasoning behind not getting it full serviced and refurbed?

Fair play - glad you are enjoying the watch!

Stand by for some wrist shots of the SMP tomorrow. Certina is back in it's box for now!

Really? Cripes.

How much are Pro Chronos? "Only" used to be 1,800 or so.
I think they are an extra £200 or so.

Excuse the quality taken on my phone its my first 'proper' watch biggrin

It's amazing how blue it can look in some lights.

Ive had plenty of comments this weekend, more than I ever got with the black one.

For me, it's the perfect size too.
