I remember "La Lanterna" which didn't fare well after it was on Kitchen Nightmares in 2005 http://www.realitytvrevisited.com/2011/05/uk-seaso...
Forgot about that, dark days. Didn't he blow his money on cars...? chrisb92 said:
Lussmans in Hitchin is amazing. Not cheap, but been there twice and the food is really good. Good service and most importantly this week, well air conditioned ha!!
Would definitely recommend.
Sounds good, I'll be trying that. Would definitely recommend.
Anyone tried the Japanese one in Hitchin, Kazoku?

Had a numberplate A1 CHEF... I think that the episode is still available online.Although 'chef' might be overcooking his culinary capability a bit....

Let us know what you think. I think there's a few in Hertfordshire. Anyone tried the Japanese one in Hitchin, Kazoku?
I've not been there but a good friend of mine has and only has good things to say about it!
Veyso's brasserie in Hertford is really good too. Turkish restaurant.

Thoroughly recommend the Meating room in st albans (top of the high st, near the hyundai dealership).
Cute little burger place, only a few booths....very reasonably priced for st albans, great burgers and fries, and quick service.
I've eaten there a few times and the foods always been good. For me, Craft and Cleaver (just down the road) is a bit better though.Cute little burger place, only a few booths....very reasonably priced for st albans, great burgers and fries, and quick service.

On the plus side i walk to work, so the DC5 is a proper driveway ornament now!
Maintaining the St Albans theme, we went to Tabure last weeK, Turkish food.
It's run by the guys who use to run Okka in Harpenden which was superb when they were there. Tabure is on a par! Lovely food, really good service and a nice atmosphere. I'd recommend it if you fancy something a little different.
