Getting a few 8 wheelers and plant snapped in the new Aldi site now they've started tarmacking.
Ooh... Nice sounding Aston. Always nice to see.
If the owner is indeed on here and was looking for me feel free to PM if you want any photos!...

Some interesting Military stuff travelling South yesterday. They looked like liquid tankers but the units pulling them were massive.
Nice! Sounds very much like one of the RAFs Oshkosh M-TVR fuel tanker outfits - They are impressive beasts, quite often seen travelling in convoys too. May occasionally see one of these units pulling low loaders on military machinery movements too.

That was indeed one of them, there was another where more of the tanker was visible and the motor unit seemed even bigger. I think it was a darker colour as well. They struggled to get round the Buckden roundabout. They are impressive beasts, quite often seen travelling in convoys too. This section of the A1 is a well used route for RAF movements it would appear in particular.
Do quite often see a lot of ex services stuff on the move, or being transported, north up to the MOD Sales place near Boston fairly often too. Always interesting to see the MOD kit on their travels.
Feel free to look here for more of the stuff I've caught for pics over the years -

Same place and time today
Thanks for the heads-up for the 6th March car meet down at the Riverside, not long after receiving it I was notified it was cancelled!
But I see by your photos it went ahead, my favourite must be the Sinclair C5

No problem on the heads up. Ended up being a decent little meet in the end. I'll look forward to the next one!...
There was/is a thread running on here too. Things got out of hand over on Faceache and the cancellation on there was in order to throw the 50-100 odd "Cruizers" who took a sudden interest off the scent. That little swerve worked well in the end!
Think all future get togethers there will be organised solely through here now.

Three days in a row James
Did you get wet today, I got soaked!

I thought you might have gotten a bit of a soaking!... That was a sharp shower, but it was over just as quick as it started thankfully!

Bit breezy up there?
Ah, that must have been you out in the Aston with the top down then? I did assume it might have been! Bit breezy up there?
Cold breeze was something I could have done without, but whenever the sun broke through it warmed up a bit.
Had a nice looking pale blue DBS Volante (top up!) go across the bridge into Eaton Socon at about 12.50pm. Don't know if you saw it too Andy? Didn't re-appear for a shot unfortunately...
