Looks like we might be in for a decent weekend weather wise so I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a drive on Sunday morning.

I don't mind knocking up a route of some sort. Meet at South Mimms services on Sunday morning. Coffee and tyre-kicking followed by an hour/hour and a half drive out and perhaps a pint at the end?

Anyone interested?

Alright chaps.

Glad to see such enthusiasm but a bit of a clash for most so shall we put it off until next week?

Right, thats at least 4 of us then - I call that a mini-hoon. bounce

For routes, I've sorted out a couple of ideas, taking in some fast DC, some twistys and some hopefully clear A roads. I can try and do a recce on Saturday. Both routes on offer are about an hour and a half not including any stops to re-group. Sound OK?

Morning all.

Was thinking about meeting at about 10:30ish. It is a Sunday after all.

Screwloose - probably best not to promote the route online. Once decided I'll sort some directions.

Just been having a look on multimap and a run up to Sywell would be good. I'm happy to set it up if thats what everyone wants. As long as the boys and girls at the TVRCC don't mind a mixed bag turning up??

Fair enough. smile

I'll sort out a recce a route tomorrow. Meet at S. Mimms services for a 10:30 departure Sunday morning. I might alter this slightly once I have the route but not by a lot.

In the time honoured PH tradition, please copy, add yourself and re-post the list below...

Afternoon all.

Had a recce of a route this morning and have written up some instructions which I'll bring tomorrow.

Its fairly straightforward but if you have a passenger, you might want to bring a map just in case.

See you in the morning (when my England victory hangover has subsided)

No worries - glad you had fun. Was good to see and hear your car going so well. That clear blast to Buntingford was an absolute cracker - apart from the learner driver we put the wind up smile

I always harboured suspicions that Gordon was a bit of a soft furnishings sort of chap under that gruff exterior....
