I can beat that!

We just had our big boat regatta and I had to spend 4 days on the water getting spectators up close with the yachts!

These boats love coming to Falmouth as we always supply wind and they can get up to full speed, a rare occurrence in the Med.

I missed the Palma cup as it clashed with the ShowBoat awards and Rendezvous over here in Monaco, shame as I have often jealously watched the Yacht Report party boat whilst sailing past in the racing, I love sailing but I know which boat I would rather be on. One of our Marketing girls went on it a few years back and said the Bikini and booze combo was quite something!

Shame. Although the wind was forcast to drop in the afternoon, so they started an hour early, and it was well underway, before we where!
e3, E-tech, and a couple of others sponsored the party boat this year.
We managed eventually to get in amongst them, but it was pretty much over by the time we caught up.
Although it didn't stop the flow of liquid refreshments, little sandwiches with the crust cut off, and the "Swimmers" when we dropped the hook for an hour or so. wink

As I say, it's a tough job, but all this social networking is part of it.
It's just fortunate some of us are willing to stand up to the plate do it. biggrin

I presume that's a typo, and you mean Deia? (Sometimes spelt Deya) Did you go into Deia, it's a lovely little village.
Cala Deia

The anchorage SW has weed?

Alright alright enough gloating.

Now. Any lovely recommendations between Symi and Fethiye?

I know a few call in, but heading out there V soon, and always good to have more.
Or is that to be different thread ??
Can't help you there, not my patch. Sorry.
I was that way many years ago though, it was August, and I remember being in my bunk for 3 days with heat stroke! 40 in the shade.
So drink plenty, and try to stay out of the sun.
Oh, and Turkish coffee is shocking!

Here's one from last summer. Anyone recognise it?
I'll give you a clue, it isn't Spain.

I'll give you another clue.
If you wanted to go from the North of Mallorca to Viareggio, and wanted to do it in two hops, where could you go?
It isn't Corsica. wink
