Red and yellow are a LONG way from the viewing village if you have enclosure tickets. Ask my feet how i know....
We've just got basic entry tickets. We went for the last year of the Vulcan and managed to park only about 10 rows from the gate but I can't recall which car park it was, think it was towards the start of the runway where they had the Vulcan and Red Arrows parked up.EddyP said:

Green is West End of runway. Probably closer to the FRIAT enclosure than the others.eltawater said:
Not sure we need so many acts apeing the red arrows routines
Also shows how little people care for the RAF typhoon display closing the show as everyone started clearing off when the amazing flanker finished
Roll on tomorrow!
That’s what we said about the other display teams! Frecce Tricolore were best I thought. Also shows how little people care for the RAF typhoon display closing the show as everyone started clearing off when the amazing flanker finished

True it was. I would have been happy with just that one! PC-7 team is good too, second time I’ve seen them now; good, tight, display and good commentary. Nearly forgot, the F35 takeoff and climb out was rather impressive too.

is the food on sale still a benchmark in just how bad event catering can be?A lot of events have improved the offerings to the point we've stopped taking food to festivals etc (we only took our own due to wanting food fit for human consumption, would rather travel light) but I know riat charged something preposterous for the pitch which along with the published price list made it non viable for anyone trying to sell something nice.
I bet they still have the chips made with chemically treated oil to make it last ten times longer which taste vile. Or has it been outlawed by the Geneva convention or the ECHR?
