Sorry for the late reply, havent checked this thread for a while.

No, not there at the moment unfortunately. Was there late June / early July. Its just used for holidays and for friends and family to borrow.

Had ir for about 18 years now and is very much home from home.

You familiar with the upper Keys?

What do you do on a hot summer's day with the kids and an old bike..................?

............... bolt on some floats and make a water bike!

Hows-a-bout that for a rooster tail?

Just like a loud exhaust, no faster but more impressive!

As much as I'd like many of the other toys posted, this looks like huge, cheap fun. Good effort biggrin

It looks like all stbd fenders are deployed, but if its a lesson, I'm sure the most important one is parking it!

Tis a lovely boat.

Thanks for the positive comments on the Chris Craft and well spotted re the fenders. Yep, it was a lesson with some docking practice - would hate to mark the hull at such an early stage in her life. Managed to get some GoPro footage at the weekend so will post this when I get time. R, CMD

Yep! She's on charter management with Sail Ionian until the end of next year. lovely part of the world, sadly not going to get to go over this year
Was in Meganisi in May, nice moorings there and lovely restaurants at the top, but the owners of the pontoons would rather have you eat at their place wink

Might have seen your parents and boat while we were there as we spoke to some people on a similar boat and they said they were out on their boat but it was chartered out with Sail Ionian, we were on a charter boat ourselves

Cheers - I'm quite excited.

Initially, she'll be at Hoo on the Medway (where my current boat is, and where I'm buying her from). She needs a good clean up (been on the hard for a year), so I'll put her in the marina basin for ease. Then, possibly a swing or trott mooring on the medway. It's a river I know, and I'm in SE London, so not hassle to get to, and you can get out to Whitstable and the East Coast quite easily.

She's got a bit of history (her name is 'Mirage of Thames'), as Thames Marine used to race her, before she was fitted out for cruising.
