Caledonian Vanguard. One of 3 commissioned by BP. Other 2 are Caledonian Vision and The Caledonian Victory. Victory being the flagship. Built in Korea.
Was fortunate enough to be invited on a tour of the Victory.
Some interesting facts you might be interested in.
Note the Fast Rescue Craft. 6 of them. 2 on each vessel. Fitted with a mini medical bay. Very impressive pieces of kit. These were commissioned to provide standby cover to the platforms within the different regions saving millions as they would no longer need to have dedicated standby vessels on long term hire. Fact: The davit for launching and retrieving the FRC broke down and they couldn't retrieve the boat. This was on New year's eve. Only option was make its own way back to port. About 150 miles. Needless to say the chaps were delighted. Pint time I'm not sure why as I'd left by then but they were taken out of service and put up for sale. Alleged asking price was 1 million each.
The Victory on it's maiden voyage was manoeuvring into the ETAP platform, lost thrusters and hit the Production platform. All on film and posted on you tube, but hastily removed. The Victory also had an incident whilst entering Aberdeen harbour and squashed 3 small fishing boats
Vanguard also hit a Jack up rigs leg whilst manoeuvring into the platform. Vessel was damaged with a fair battle scar and was holed. Rig was evacuated till the damage was assessed.
Bit of a long post that. Apologies for any grammar errors. Sausage fingers on phone

As a result - reverted back to the ERRV business holding AFAIK.
Found one.
And to drag up an old topic even.....
Plugged in to the Shorepower
"The giants of the blue oceans have taken a green step forward.
Sea Installer and Sea Challenger have connected to Port Esbjerg’s new shore-to-ship power units – being both the first installation vessels from the offshore wind industry and the first two very large vessels to use green power while docked at Port Esbjerg, generating a significant saving on carbon emissions.
“The environmental benefits of having docked vessels connect to onshore power are entirely clear. That’s why we are so excited to be able to offer this service to also the very large vessels and to see a growing interest among our customers. We take it as a confirmation that we should continue our concerted efforts and major investments in the green transition at Port Esbjerg,” says Jesper Bank, CCO at Port Esbjerg.
The two shore-to-ship power units have a capacity of 500 amp each and can supply up to 11,000 kWh every 24 hours on the two cable outlets. Both emissions of CO2, Sox and Nox are reduced when using shore power rather than diesel generator"
And I stand by my comments earlier - a fking expensive day @ 2 x 100k lost revenue ...... although saving 8Te a day fuel
