I think the playback cuts out some of the tracking points as when I saw it live, the holds NE of the circuit were nice racetrack shapes and the display over Albert Park was show very accurately.

The screenshot was taken at the time of the GP build up, approx. 05.55. The plane is over Albert Park.

The straight yellow line is over Albert Park, I'd wrongly assumed the green wiggly stuff was the display but that's not over Albert Park. It did quite a few passes and turns over the start finish straight where we were sat so I thought Flight Radar might show the tracks over the circuit.

Yes thanks. My reply is to someone suggesting the holding patern is the display.
