Absolutely brilliant.

I had to miss Le Mans this year because of a funeral in Glasgow and this made up for it.

This (crappy) picture was taken rather hurriedly on my phone but it shows what the weather was like yesterday - perfect.

Top marks for the RAF personnel who were bloody brilliant; Everyone was friendly, professional and had the time to answer our undoubtedly stupid questions.

In the hope that someone involved reads this, thanks to all.

Yep, I'm afraid so, no idea how you go about booking them, but I used to pass them all on my way to school.
Booked two miles outside Waddington.

We're camping and will cycle in on both days.
Sorry for the late reply but...
I booked online for Barn farm on Thursday and had no problems. 50 quid for the weekend is a bargain especially as you're within spitting distance of the runway.

Yep. Me and my gf thought the same. The reds were of course mm perfect practically but their routine I have seen before. The black eagles had some very nice moves of their own (as far as I am aware). We had to leave just as the Saudi pilots got their turn on the sat. I assume they pulled off the heart in the sky too? I liked that the Italians did theirs from the bottom and the Koreans put an arrow through it. Also liked the symbol they painted in the sky.

Got some decent pics too but I have taken massive liberties with the cropping because my longest lens had about as much reach as an amputee,

Tornado demo was nice and the afterburner runs we're fookin loud.... Still not as loud as top fuel dragsters at Santa pod though. They border on biblical.

Pretty disappointed with what was in hanger 3. It was a bit bare and there were far to many tat stalls around for my liking. Got mega sunburn on my face too. It was bucketing down when we set off for the show on the Saturday morning and thought it may well get cancelled. Got there, clouds parted and it was decent weather all day... Thanks to the wind I never felt the burn! Now I look like an inverted panda.

Being local we tend to go on the Thursday or Friday - preview days. You see the aircraft arriving and practicing. £5 per head to get in plus a free timed running order for the day - and you get to park on the grass alongside the A15 end of the runway. Days run from around 8:00am to 5:30pm. Friday was a great day. RAF personnel on duty were, as always, superb...........and we arrived just as a Hornet was displaying.
