Admittedly this isn't necessarily the best thread to be asking these questions.
My understanding is they inherited some money sub £100k from an Aunt in the early 90's together they purchased a property and flipped it before moving in. This type of scenario happened multiple times each time they accumulated more wealth and here they are today. Luck, ball's self confidence. Admittedly this isn't necessarily the best thread to be asking these questions.

At a guess, it's nothing like a billion. Not paying tax helps. The yacht is no where near 60m and shouldn't be on the thread.

I've met them both. Nope - I can't explain it. Distinctly average chaps. Perfectly nice though.Admittedly this isn't necessarily the best thread to be asking these questions.
I was told that they became the sort of 'go to guys' if an oligarch wants to buy table cutlery set with diamonds. They'll source it super quick and charge top dollar. Multiply that by every other hideous thing that some super rich person might want - and there's the answer.
