Cheers for that! Dare I ask how you found that out?

From my flight tracking setup at home. You can do the same very cheaply, I had 418 straight overhead in central Worcester, the sharp turns at the east side of the track are due to 417 dropping below 4000 feet and out of sight for my kit.

Thanks for the answers, we get some great fly by's here occasionally however last night it was akin to a couple max power Saxos doing laps around an industrial park.

Any clues why they are flying in circles?

Where abouts is the new aircraft carrier at the moment?
Just wondering what air traffic there is around it.

I've just been on ADS-B Exchange watching a RC135 Rivet Joint flying around. It took off from Mildenhall and, after crossing Germany, flew south of Kaliningrad in Polish airspace before heading out over the Baltic Sea. I wonder what they have been listening to. ears

Prescott Support Hercules N3755P. Operates secret US government contracts and not trackable. Was in Glasgow on 5th and there's a pic of it there on Flickr too : https://flic.kr/p/VavatN

Anyone pick anything up over Wiltshire at 12:30pm today? Sounded like a heavy bomber, not sure if anything is arriving at RIAT early but the USAF stuff usually heads in directly over our house (Hilperton).

Probably not with that callsign - suspect it's a tactical unit doing SEAD training sorties.

No they are F-16's from Spangdahlem AB in Germany currently working out of Lakenheath. The Weasel callsign i believe refers to the fact these are Wild Weasel aircraft (aircraft tasked with taking out enemy radar / SAM sites)

Would loved to have seen a trace of the B-2 yesterday, it seemed to be hanging around for a loooooong time before it's two fly-pasts.

They're not equipped so you'll never see any trace for them. Same with the B-52s.

I saw what looked like an Electra (188) last night about 6 o'clock or so, leaving Glasgow Airport heading North.

Unlikely to have been an Electra, anyone know what it might have been? Didn't appear on Flightradar24.

Out of interest, is it a Hercules, or an L-100? Not being picky, just curious.

I need to check my data, but I really didn't see many MIL flights on ADS-B or MLAT over the weekend, which is surprising considering my proximity to Fairford. I'll run a report tonight and see what turns up, if it's interesting I'll chuck it online and share the link.
