That Russian site is interesting. Firstly using the settings changed to English, then selected Military aircraft only.
In the screenshot below you can see an Antonov 124 going North and an American Global Hawk monitoring Russian activity.

If it isn't a Globalhawk drone off Crimea and Russia, then it is a RC135 "Rivet Joint". There is also a lot of activity in the Persian Gulf, with US tanker aircraft - K35R and Douglas MD11 (DC10) Extender. Between 18:00 and 21:00 UK time, there seem to be lots of military aircraft over the US. I saw 3 Dassault Mirages around an hour ago, dozens of K35R's.In the screenshot below you can see an Antonov 124 going North and an American Global Hawk monitoring Russian activity.

It can get a bit addictive

An A400 flew over my head earlier as I was letting the dog out. It was on its way back to Brize Norton from Northolt, knew exactly what it was as soon as I heard it!

I quite often hear it go over my house in Kent, when it is on its way to Akrotiri in Cyprus. It has a deep rumble to the engine note. The RAF A330 ZZ337 went over about 30 minutes ago.![](https://thumbsnap.com/sc/9uu2aber.jpg)

This is pretty much circling above my house, loads of police officers searching/raiding warehouses that have been unused for a few years. They've also had drones flying around too.ecsrobin said:

When I lived there 15 years ago we had lots of riot police arriving to raid warehouses where they were making fake Smirnoff. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s related. Penrhyn said:

Agreed, once you get the settings changed the coverage and display is better than any other for military. I think. In the screenshot below you can see an Antonov 124 going North and an American Global Hawk monitoring Russian activity.

I saw some Russian drones over the Crimea and all sorts that doesn’t normally show, the U.K. coverage was even better than the others.
Really interesting,
I’m keeping the original Russian maps for some cool Cold War atmosphere.

Do you mind me asking which settings you use, because I am relatively new to these plane tracking sites.I saw some Russian drones over the Crimea and all sorts that doesn’t normally show, the U.K. coverage was even better than the others.

Guessing, but it looks like it was LHR-ATL: may have flagged a problem which prevents it crossing the ocean, so it's holding to burn off fuel, before it decides where to go.
Or dumping it?![wink](/inc/images/wink.gif)
