2 Typhoons and a Voyager tanker

One of the Typhoons showing a transponder hex ID of 0xAAAAAA, which corresponds to a US registered Cessna 208...doing 600 knots, which is pretty good for a Caravan.

Just came here to post the same thing. Raised a dry smile with me.

Don't think I've ever seen a DC-8 in the air before, I'm not old enough for that laugh

Must be at least 49 years old!

Just noticed that & wondered what was going on.

Pair of Lynx' have just flown across central Chelmsford, currently heading towards the M25/Kent.

Pair of Pumas accompanied by a couple of Met Police helicopters have just flown over from the Northolt direction (not sure if that's where they originated, or just where ADSB picked them up) and landed at Heathrow.

The two Puma's just flew over me on their way back to Benson, the one at the front had the side doors open.

I could have sworn those 2 Puma's were Marine 1 and 2 but that wouldn't make sense for them to be over flying my house in Northolt seeing as Joe is in Cornwall. Maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me, couldn't pick them up on FR24.

They are always up and about, but I suspect a lot of the usual training activity (like this) is being done over Cornwall this week rather than the usual places (North Sea) as a bit of a show of strength etc.
I don’t think that’s training - if you see their trails over the North Sea they’re all over the place. This is literally flying around in circles (OK, not quite a circle), as is the Voyager.

There maybe more than one Typhoon per icon too (as well as the “Cessna”), when Big Jet TV were streaming live from Coningsby as the flight of 3 or 4 Typhoons came in or left, one one was transmitting.

Ironic how Boris was lambasted from flying down from London when those things are burning fuel at such a prodigious rate all day! You would think they could setup some rapid reaction facility at RAF St Mawgan / Newquay Airport.

My eyes weren't playing tricks on me, it WAS Marine 1 and 2.

Is it normal for Marine 1 / 2 to ident as such ?
I thought it was only when actually carrying the president ( and Marine 2 wouldn't be used ! )

I hate to pick nits, but they won't have been Lynx. They've all been retired and Wildcat are in service now. I watched a Wildcat doing some low level stuff over Salisbury Plain today. I couldn't get close enough for a photo as I was stranded on a Bridleway on the wrong side of the A303.

No, you need to use ADSB Exchange in a web browser. This shows all traffic by default, press U for military only.

My eyes weren't playing tricks on me, it WAS Marine 1 and 2.
They did two loops over central London. I was sitting on our roof reading in the sun when they came directly overhead.
