they are saying that no date as been set for the final flight - does anyone know how long she can keep flying for? till the end of October or longer? there must be some kind of cut off date
I can't see it being beyond the next few weeks....as weather issues will start to come into play, as VFR and diminishing light as the clocks go back at end of month as well.My suspicion is that the final flight won't be 'announced' beforehand, or not until an hour or so beforehand because of the issues with not wanting to jam the local roads as already mentioned before last weekend.

On the radio they were saying the cut off is due to the technology knowledge from the supporting partners not being there anymore for it to be given air worthiness certificate... so I imagine that whoever is supporting it from an engineering basis is stopping that support - anyone know anymore details on that?So from that I am guessing they are good for the rest of the year.

Does anyone know if it will be making a visit/flypast to RAF Northolt or anywhere remotely near?
Not a hope of that.Nearest it came was when it overflew RAFM Hendon back in June/July time...or should have gone down to Farnborough or Bicester areas or even North Weald last Sunday.
