What would you choose to have a flight in, and why?

I'm just an old-fashioned guy. I enjoyed being in control of a North American Texan (aka Harvard) in Florida. I really want to fly a Tiger Moth, though. Second best (and one I'm considering for my next "big" birthday), is a passenger flight in a DH Dragon or one of its variants. The Dragon just screams "Art Deco, Streamline" in a way no other aircraft can.

You know what, I couldn't agree more. That is my lottery fantasy, a Cat all nicely decked out with teak etc inside... I don't care how big your so-called 'super'yacht is, nothing could beat chopping the throttles and coasting into, say, Venice. And I would be trans-Atlantic faster.(Unless someone parked a Sunderland next to me

And there's me thinking I was the only one that had that 'lottery win idea'.
I've had this thought ever since experiencing my first seaborne take-off and landing 10 years ago, when flying into/out of one of the remote Fijian Islands.
A Cat would be great, but an executive configued Grumman Albatros would probably be more usable.

At the risk of instantly making everyone hate me, I had the honour of being back-seat in a Typhoon during the Jubilee celebrations. I did put these up on a few car forums at the time (although pretty sure I didn't put them on here):
I won't lie to you, the word 'awesome' doesn't come close to describing the experience. I managed to get airborne in a Hawk last year photographing the (then newly painted) 41(R)Sqn 95th anniversary Tornado over the South coast too, and that was also absolutely incredible. I'm hoping to get up in one of our Tornados and the Lancaster/Dakota before the end of the year.
I'd probably cut off my testes with a blunt spoon and eat them for a flight in an SR71.
