Is that now, or before she fell over?Wow, how long must it have sat in the water (the wrong way) and the cost to recover it let alone restore it. Nice to see it being done rather than just buying a new one.

Shame the original owner never managed to cross the Atlantis as he hoped.
Pretty big ambition really, given that it's lost and all. Buzz84 said:

Maybe that's where the vessel was trying to get to in later life...joshleb said:

I know the guy who’s bought her very well, he’s a client of mine.
He’s the sort of guy to see this sort of project through
I am so pleased to hear that. He's a brave man, given (as noted above) how the boat has been mutilated over the years and the state it is in now. I doff my virtual cap to him, and (for what it's worth, he doesn't know me from Adam) thank him for being willing to take that on. He’s the sort of guy to see this sort of project through
He is clearly wealthy enough to go to any of the superyacht builders and have one of them create something to his personal desire, and yet he chooses to rescue a knackered, butchered wreck from a mudbank and restore it to its former glory.
Kudos to him.

And yet the story starts out as him being outbid on ebay not once but twice.

Can you tell him to get his ass in gear and fully update the website then! Oh and as we are impatient we expect a full team working on the project 24/7 with daily updates! 😂🤣😂He’s the sort of guy to see this sort of project through
