In the excellent Coventry airpoty museum (where you can climb into most of thd cockpits of the aircraft ona good sunday, inclduing a Vulcan) they have a display with the only remains of the Whitley bomber.
Its not the last Whitley bit, there's a group been collecting Whitley parts for a few years now. They are looking to making a complete, albeit composite, example. There's also about two and a half Albermarle front fuselages kicking about too.
With regards to the Victor at Bruntingthorpe, I don't believe the CAA were worried after they investigated it's hop. There was a lot of info from the 'pilot' over on pprune shortly after which explained it all.

Take one DH91, add steroids,
Lockheed Connie.
As soon as I saw the DH-91 I thought it looked like a slightly melted Constellation. Wonder who copied who?Lockheed Connie.
The Connie was designed around the same time but was all metal - and pressurised to boot.
The designer of the Albatros, Arthur Hagg, went on to design another elegant British airliner, the Airspeed Ambassador - also extinct from a flying point of view (although one is on static display at Duxford).
