We have a small museum on base that is run and manned by us, visitors of the station often go see it or relatives of people who have been station here. It might be going on loan there I believe.

No I don’t thing so Eric, I would have to check the history, I should know really.


A quick check shows no. Avro Manchester, Lancaster, Blenheim, wellingtons but no Lincoln’s.

I don't know if it's the actual Swiss plane that two Swiss climbers landed on Mont Blanc (to the outrage of the local mayor) but it's a pretty cool photo of an aeroplane on a mountain... https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/jun/18/moun...

Love the Sally B shot too. I was walking through suburban Essex a few years ago and it flew over at zero feet (it felt like!). Superb thing.

Here she is being fettled at Duxford about three years ago (sorry for low-light pic)
