Anyone know this boat, currently in Douglas Bay
Discussion
In the vid I linked to above, they said that with power regeneration off the shafts to charge the batteries they can get across the atlantic burning no fuel.
And yes, a 30 knot speed too apparently.
Of course, if you didn't want a tippy boat, you wouldn't buy a tippy boat - so I take the point about it might spill the G&T if you're not ready for it, but horses for courses etc. I love it, it's an epic yacht. I also like some of the Van Dam Woodcraft boats, but they're a not superyacht size.

One good aspect is that fuel consumption seems to be absolutely minimal. It says on google that it’ll cross the Atlantic with 20l of fuel due to a bunch of solar and wind powered generators. Pretty cool.
Tbh I would love to go on it but it’s not my idea of fun.

Doesn't it mean you are unemployed?
It means not going up the mast to clear wine glassed kites, shouting for water and dodging J Boat bowsprits. Gassing Station | Boats, Planes & Trains | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
