Ref civ L100. I use one as part of my job to get stuff from A to B.
When I say "I" I mean I use a contractor to operate/fly it for me.
Its operated by TRANSAFRIK. This plane has also just had a staring role in the latest Raid On Entebbe remake.
We used to fix Transafrik aircraft at Cambridge, out of all the operators they were definitely at the bottom of the list when it came to spending money, and top of the list when it came to fixing bullet holes etc.!When I say "I" I mean I use a contractor to operate/fly it for me.

They are still out there flying daily missions and to be fair are pretty reliable. Of course those niggling faults that would put a mil maintained airframe unserviceable are probably "worked around"!!
Arriving at one such base, dodgy looking bloke with numerous night vision lenses on his helmet marshalling us in.

They have/had a couple in the OSRL scheme, N119TG & N121TG at least; I guess it's sub contract work. It's N119TG that's crashed, N121TG's still going.
Certainly in the UK it was sub contract work. We operated the islander for them and cobham a dornier. I believe both are now operated by a different contractor. ecsrobin said:

Makes sense: a guy I vaguely know through a mate flew a or the Cobham Dornier for a while, acting as bait with the Falcons. He's moved on, I think, & I've not seen it for a while.Gassing Station | Boats, Planes & Trains | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
