Some pictures of them on the ground before they we t out to play, it was 2 Spitfires, a Hurricane & P-51 alongside the C-47 Placid Lassie

I heard these! I was flitting between St Neots and Grafham Water. Glad I found this post. Gutted I didn’t see them, particularly the DC-3. But glad to know I knew there was Merlin’s up there.
