This is an interesting concept for BA / Boeing 747 anoraks - a fixed base B747-400 flight sim experience combined with business class upper deck complete with all original fixtures and fittings including seat back magazines etc, refreshments served by ex cabin crew (afternoon tea bookings coming soon) plus some other bits and bobs to poke around in the hangar such as original nose landing gear, wing section, engine cowling, crew rest area and more.

I like the look of that but very little detail on the website, the images are so far zoomed in you cant really see whats what.

There's a Captain Joe video about it here which gives a lot better impression of what it's like - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSdif0WxxLw

I'll have to look back in my book and see if I ever flew in those seats for real... 62K was my preferred on 747 flights to the US and I took a good number of them so it's possible I flew on BYGG back in the day!

I feel sad that I never got to go on a 747 and likely never will. We might be going to Florida next year, likely with Virgin, so that'll be an Airbus. cry

Lufthansa still use them fairly extensively if you still want to get a trip. The 8s presumably will still be in service for a good while yet. Korean air also send theirs in & out of Heathrow.

Looks like something different!

After a quick look at their website though, I wonder if their What 3 Words decided their location :-)
