South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum

I’ve said before my son loves planes, and having been to both the Yorkshire Air Museum and Aeropark at East Midlands - today we had a wonderful day at the open cockpit weekend at South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum. As it’s not particularly well known I thought I’d share.

My son was delighted he was able to sit in lots of cockpits including a Harrier, A Vulcan, Sea King all for the princely sum of £7.50 (he was free).

Glad you had a good day. They seem to have plenty to see and the open cockpits will hopefully get many more youngsters interested in the subject.
