What are these sort of boats like for bobbing around the coast in?

Having never owned a boat I have no idea but I quite fancy something I can fart about with.

The boy inside me says "get a speedboat!" but I think a wee cabin cruiser could be enjoyable in a more laid back sort of way?

I cant afford anything approaching a "proper" boat but for a few k you seem to be able to get something fairly reasonable in the "cabin cruiser" sector?

Its just a notion - I dont have any plans to buy anything....I would need to look into training and stuff first but the idea of it all appeals to me at the minute

Mike some speed boats have small cuddy cabins and full canvas . There are extremely versatile and at present very reasonable to buy . Much more so than the more traditional solid wheel house type .
