Anyone mentioned:
Theakston Old Perculiar
Marston Owld Rodger (if you can find it) yet?
Lurvely.
It's alright (sipped many a bottles), so long as you don't pay a full price. ABV: 5.6% helps. Theakston Old Perculiar

Going cheap in Tesco right now.
Can't comment on the second one - haven't tried it yet.

£1.25 in Aldi, not on offer. That's the price.Going cheap in Tesco right now.

Can only find Owld Rodger in Budgens, 3 for £5. Another good one in a similar vein is McEwans Champion.

Old Pec is always in supermarkets and regularly on offer. A staple - dark, good balance 'twixt sweet & bitter.
Owd Rog much rarer. & stronger. Very rich & sweet. Goes well with spicy Indian. Think bhuna rather than vindaloo,

Jet
Marble, thornbridge, brewdog, goose island, franziskaner of the more readily available bottled beers are ones I buy relatively regularly.
Cans are making a comeback in craft ales as they're ceramic skinned now which apparently produces better results even than bottles, and doesn't taint over time. I remember getting really cheap late date cans when I was younger and they just tasted of metal. Apparently totally different now.

My favourite:
This is by far and away the most refreshing summer beer I have ever had.On a hot day: take out of fridge, put in freezer for half an hour, pour in a glass that has been in freezer for a good ten minutes.
Result: absolutely beautiful!
