Very disappointed this evening. It took me an hour and a half to get home from work and I fancied a McDonalds for dinner.

Ordered a double quarter pounder with cheese meal, 20 nuggets, apple pie and a chocolate milkshake.

I received a chicken nuggets happy meal!

Waiting for Just Eat to refund me the money. Rang the store and all I got was an apology and pointed back to Just Eat!

I'd be furious too. The worst is when you order close to closing time and they cancel your order but not until every other gaff is shut.

If you're ordering Maccies I'd always suggest going with Uber Eats rather than Just Eat. Same delivery drivers but Uber are far more generous with the refunds.

We've had a delivery with each and both have missed parts of the order. Raise a complaint and Uber refund it straight away, Just Eat not so much....

We had a delivery from Uber where they missed a couple of dips refunded straight away. As in the entire order was refunded. Not so much with JE....

I've never once used just eat or uber eats (i do it old fashioned by calling up and collecting in person)..

..but whenever I'm in McDs waiting for my order I can't help but notice how rude all these delivery people are. No hello, thank you. Walk in, flash their phone, impatient, entitled, unable to read the monitor above them showing if it's ready or not, don't even understand english. (observation based on london) With that behaviour it's no wonder they're working in that job, can't imagine they'd be hired for anything else.

Can't help but think the staff must hate them (despite it being a large amount of sales) and probably prefer dealing with an actual person coming in to buy their own food.

£8.20 the going rate for a fish finger and chips? You've got to be off your bonce. Just checked the 3 chippys within a mile of the office, the below is the middle of the 3 - thank God sense prevails in North Yorkshire

Cod and chips at one of my local is £9.95 and that's south coast in Hampshire.
In my local chippy two cod and sufficient chips for two has just gone up, to £12.60. I'm in Portsmouth.

The one I use at Lee on Solent is a similar price, and always superb quality.

Suggesting that the monitor is ever right! Ive had my order show for a good ten minutes whilst the drive through fills and empties twice and multiple Uber drivers come in and out. (and i don't order weird custom things or piles of chicken that takes longer to cook)

Ooo I was quoting Stubbington but if you mean ‘that’ chippy in Lee on Solent then it’s the best I’ve ever been to.

Are we using a can of Raid as the measuring metric these days?

Please can we agree on the size of Raid tin, 300ml seems to be the default size.

Long day working - no lunch either.. No can of Raid to hand, so you’ll have to use the Hellmans mayonnaise, or the 2 litre sparkling water bottle for scale.
