fragrance EDT dupes out tomorrow, many copycat versions of fragrances costing £80-100+. I've bought 3 dupes so far (2 from lidl, 1 from aldi). been very pleased with them, at £5 I don't feel I have to use it sparingly/on only certain occasions.
Do you know what fragrances they are dupes for ?
cba to look it up but googling the '<aldi fragrance name> dupe of' tends to yield various articles on what they are copycats of.
Advert in paper shows ‘Pure Noir’ alongside Tom Ford Black Orchid.

Supposedly HOT, but it's as bland as anything and wholly devoid of even a trace of heat. The standard non-hot pepperami is tastier and spicier in back to back comparison.

That would make them a very expensive box of truffles…

must be popular... looked like a jumble sale when I got there tonight. All gone - apart from a blue bottle and a clear bottle - both smelt rank!

Just tried those salt n vinegar peanuts (ALDI). They are very addictive.

I tend to avoid S&V because of what it can sometimes do to the skin on ones lips. If you're someone who likes S&V or prawn cocktail crisps then it'll be something you will very much enjoy.

Did you get them?

I’m on round two and have to say they’re seriously indulgent.

Yes I did and both me and Mrs found them quite bland frown
I ate them all just to make sure though!

The Florentine and plum/cherry marzipans from Lidl are nicer imho

Unless you dont like almonds smile

Has anyone tried Aldi’s “Jammy red” wine yet?
My wife is rather partial to “Jam shed” red, so she’s grabbed a bottle to try at some point.

Can someone recommend a reasonably priced Aldi/Lidl (or other) Port? Wanted for a cheese board on Christmas Eve.

I did pick this up last night but haven’t tried yet. Will probably drink before the event. Any other suggestions?

I'd spend a few quid extra get the 10 year old tawny, i prefer the more muted, complex flavour of a tawny to a LBV or Ruby port.

Currently sipping an 11 year old one, (a year old that didnt get opened last year) and have one of the 40 year olds tucked away, i see theyre avilable online at £29.99 but not in any of my 3 local stores, these are fantastic.

Thank you! We started a new tradition of going to a friends for dinner on Christmas Eve. He drinks and we both like cheese but other half doesn’t so it’s just the two of us that will indulge. I’m in charge of the cheese also.

Coincidence!, I picked one of those up yesterday too to compare after finishing their 10 year old tawny. It's not bad but I think I prefer the tawny. Both are a bargain though and I preferred the Aldi tawny to the the Taylors 10 year old from Waitrose on offer for £19

If anyone was thinking of buying the Yorkshire Pudding Beer. Don't. It's utter st. Dirty water.

Not sure who is in charge of the 'craft' section but it's utter dog dirt. Always has been.
