I found Dorking's last bottle.

£9.99.
Enjoy! It's only a half bottle so didn't feel bad drinking it to my self!
I certainly will.

Paid £55 for a 375 ml (fancier producer) at Christmas, and guess what - it's still in the cupboard.

I have some foie gras to go with it.

Perlenbacher lager, brewed in according to german purity laws, brewed in France. Good vfm, not the best lager in the world but worth a try at this price.

must have been an introductory offer, my local has now but it up from £3.99 to £9.99
I’ve just had a bottle. Was £9.99. I think for that price it wasn’t great but for the introductory price it would have been great.

Agreed at £3.99 very nice, for £10 a bottle there's better

I like the Aldi Rheinbacher Pils. Which is made where it should be!

Perlenbacher tastes good going down, but I find it has an odd aftertaste

I think the Aldi bottled beers that have been made in the same breweries as the headline beers - Dorset IPA, London Porter are crackers.

The Anti-Establishment and Memphis Boulevard IPA cans are also a fantastic way of watching sport at home fun- 4 of them and you’ll be singing Swing Low all evening!

And off to Aldi I now go…

ALDI and LIDL doing 15p veg from tomorrow (both doing carrots, potato, but beyond that they have additional items that differ between them). sainsbury's are doing it too, but 15p is only on nectar, otherwise it's 65p. No mention on whether the remaining supermarkets are doing anything.

Useful for this weekends roast.. and for the next few weeks.

I'm also a big fan of their coffee stout, although I find it a bit rich and sweet if I have more than 1 bottle. But that 1 bottle is lovely before moving on to an IPA or something else.

Grabbed a bag of 1kg carrots for 15p and a 2kg bag of British potatoes also 15p in Lidl. Pleasantly surprised as the potatoes were quite nice steamed and the carrots seemed exactly the same as the ones they sell at full price.

Personally found the veg in Lidl to be quite reasonable quality these days (though not necessarily cheap).

The giant naans in the bakery section are ace, far better than the ones with the world foods.

the Riya's brand of naan is miles better than any of the supermarket offerings that just taste like bread with herbs ontop. Sold for years at the other supermarkets but a recent thing to ALDI

If you're meaning Aldi's, at £1.50, we had them yesterday, and for a supermarket naan they're very good. However. Across the green from us is a Premier corner shop. Their naans, at £1.99 for two are simply THE best naans I have ever had from any shop. 1 minute either side on a wetted naan, and perfection.
