Haha, yes another sausage for the sake of balance wouldn't have gone amiss. They were unusually generous with the chips this time.
did you manage to eat it all?

that looks rank , hope it tasted good . i thought standards were on the decline where some of the food looked so good it seemed to have been staged.
it needs to look bad and taste good , chaps. sorry i cannot contribute anything worthwhile to the thread as i have health issues

Its only fair to give them a second attempt:

No onion rings this time as I collected it. A bit burnt again, but still lovely.
I was "OOP north" (darlington) for a wedding at the weekend in typical style I wondered the streets at 3am looking for a kebab, ended up seeing a whole menu of Chicken parma's in the kebab/pizza shop, literally never seen them advertised before and only knew what they were due to this thread.

So i tried my first ever one, from what i remember it was decent, a LOT of cheese, scraped most of it off, was just like a big cheesy flat KFC burger really, without the bun obviously.

I went for the hot one, so had chilli's on it too yum, came with salad and chips and looked almost identical to the one above

The big reheated white bowl all mixed together the next day was better! I agree though this thread is in danger of becoming gourmet take away pictures

Cumberland sausage, large chips, curry sauce with a garnish of scraps. Felt like I had eaten a house brick when I went to bed

Light lunch from Venus in Leeds today -

Iskender kebab with sides. Had some baklava and a mint tea to wash it down later on.

Doesnt look like an Iskander kebab to me. An Iskander is donner meat in at tomato sauce topped with lots of melted butter and yoghurt and is heart attack central....

Twas light on the sauce and opted for chilli and mint instead of the yogurt.

What is the general view about mixing all the sauce/rice up like this before eating? Is it the norm on here?

I like to keep all the "parts" in their own areas so I can load the fork with exactly which elements I want to eat for the next mouthful. My Wife always mixes the whole lot up like the poster above and I just can't see the appeal of doing that.

Am I doing it wrong?

Not necessarily each to their own. Yeah mixed dish is the leftovers which were microwaved and it's a faff to keep it all separate and get even heat through the meal I find. Does depend on what you have ordered though because some dishes clearly clash.

Not a takeaway, but dirty.

Lamb vindaloo in Hanburg. Tasted like a phall hot Korma with coconuts in it!

Delicious but big trouble next morning.
