3 boilies is a good effort. Funny how 3 eggs scrambled or in an omelette seems nothing, but 3 boiled or poached fills you right up.
An odd comment to me... a three egg omelette fills me up for hours, though I feel as though the accompanying olive oil or butter for cooking contributes to that.

Are hash browns now a northern or hipster thing? They seem pervasive on most bought breakfasts on this thread and some home efforts, but strike me as quite a child-focused food. Is it an Americanisation?

Looks great, just double it smile.

I'm a big fan of hash browns - had a bag delivered this week for a breakfast treat.

US hash browns tend to be more 'open', more of an actual hash of potato than the type we get.

I see it as an advance from fried sliced potato that we used to have, never had an Olympic Breakfast from Little Chef when you were merely middle-aged?

Oak smoked dry cured bacon in fresh cobs. Loads of butter with red and brown sauce.

Starting to feel human again.

So as not to offend the “ant-chips on breakfast” brigade … had bubble this morning (tbh I prefer chips) so will revert back and cause offence next time.

£12 - £9,50 for set breakfast (BP £1.50, can £1)

Annoyingly - if you get Set breakfast 2 (comes with more bacon, mushrooms, and a burger thrown in for £10 (swap burger for BP). It would be £1 cheaper. But trying to be sensible (and yes I fully appreciate the irony in that statement ….. smile.

In mitigation, I’ve not eaten anything else today.

But yes - around London, days of £6 for a set breakfast are long gone.

That fried bread looks fantastic! Beans not reduced enough and would prefer tinned toms -2 points hehe

Still would though, especially after 2 days of not eating due to some 'kin stomach bug that's been doing the rounds! frown

Looks lovely - but even with butter and sauce (HP I hope) could be a bit dry (in my mind anyway) Sacrilege I know but a drizzle of baked beans juice would liven it up (personal preference I acknowledge) smile
