Just back from a work trip running senior management workshops for a Dutch company. Stayed at a working farm in the east, just by the German border. Facilities were superb and the food out of this world. Everything raised/butchered/hung on-site (a lot of beef consumed). The other ingredients and presentation were spot-on, should have taken more photos but here’s a sample:

I have discovered Gnocchi. Made this on a whim off a recipe in the paper, it was good!

Gnocchi is fantastic! Keep at it.

Had a big lunch today so picky food tonight. Nachossssss. Maybe needs to go in the basic food thread hehe

Nothing too fancy- just homemade spaghetti bolognese (but with a 5 hour cook time). Deffo worth it

No Sunday roast for me this week… bit of a footy match to watch biggrin

A light vegetable curry that I’d made and frozen some time ago, with a piece of cod fillet. Coriander and lemon garnish. Couple of chapattis out of shot.

Despite being cobbled together, it turned out super tasty.

Last night ,chicken tikka sagg , bagees , samosas,sweet potatoe fries and some pickled onions



The fries were doused in pickle vinegar

Yes I’m odd I know , just using stuff up ,some sweet pots which I fancied some pickled vinegar on ,which meant opening a jar so now I need to consume onions as well
