Not dinner admittedly but you could if you wanted to. Laoganma on top.

If it is Lao Gan Ma, the manufacturer, they have many different products. Fried Chili, Crispy Chili, Black bean, Tofu, etc. I went to Binondo, the oldest Chinatown in the world apparently, to get some "Chili Oil", but was thrown by the selection. Other areas in the Philippines have the more well-known products. Not sure how comprehensive the UK is.

I use Fried Chili in Oil and Spicy Chili Crisp the majority of the time.

Here is a comprehensive overview of all the Lao Gan Ma selection:

My house guest enjoyed last nights dinner so much she insisted on the same again. I did mix it up a bit, but it's still clams.

Wife fancied vegetarian tonight.

Quinoa, courgette and asparagus charred on the bbq, roast cauliflower, spring onions and coriander, tahini and miso dressing, pomegranate and cashew garnish.

Bit of crispy chilli oil on mine.

Our friends dropped off some lamb they recently had butchered. Looking forward to these in about an hour…

rofl

We used to eat lamb pretty regularly in the UK but when we moved to the US found the lamb to be horribly expensive and average quality at best. So, no - not too much recently!

^ ^ ^ I was going to say, that must be a rare treat for you; the chops look lush, the end result not too shabby, just needs some mint jelly.

Oh god yes mint jelly ,with roasties cooked in lamb fat . Sadly for some reason the smell of roast lamb freaks out my rescue dog to absurd levels so what was once a rare treat is now unheard of .

Quick chaps, I think Moose needs saving, he doesn’t like mint jelly with lamb chops; could be he’s turning Merican.

Sticks.

Change of dinner plans - meant to be drinking and getting a burger in NYC, but mate was told not allowed out too late ……. So headed back on the train to New Jersey, grabbed a taxi, and went to an Outback steak house - never eaten in one before - but will again. 22oz Porterhouse - the filet side didn’t need a knife to cut it !!
