the excrement in the toilets was literally piled high like some sort of giant walnut whip made of turd and toilet roll high above the rim of the bowl. There was piss and toilet roll all over the floors by the urinals and it smelled like nothing on earth.
I feel for the poor bstad who had to use it after you! hehe

Yeah it seems burgers like the M Burger, the CBO, chicken premier etc are things of the past with creativity now rather restrained. Some of the great tastes of America / Tastes of Italy type stuff was interesting. This incessant shift between bigger big macs and the mctasty is now really boring.

I think what they should do is make a list of all of the burgers available around the world and use that as inspiration. Sure they tried a chicken big mac in the UK but it was breaded chiken so wasnt great. Would be good to get the Maharajah Mac from India or the McArabia from Saudi. Others that would be good include the chicken and egg burger from Hong Kong, cheese and tomato empanadas they have had in Italy (they can keep the deep fried olives, the McCrocette from the Netherlands, The Cordon Bleu from Poland, black and white burger from china, McRice from Indonesia maybe? or even one of the best specials I have ever had.... the McCrispy Chicken that they served in South Africa for a while which was on the bone chicken KFC style in a zinger type crispy coating and it was awesome would kill off KFC in the UK

they do this often in international mcd's canada i recall recentlyish. menu items from different countries.

the tastes of world/america in the last few years we had in uk were awful, simply change of source, addition of bacon or notionally different bun that tasted same as any other bun. still they know their client base here.

bk just launched a peppercorn angus per notification on my app just now which is slightly more interesting, but still not a mushroom swiss...

That must be a lie. Surely if they had those on the menu you wouldn't have walked past, you'd have walked in? smile

I had a similar experience recently. Went to a McD's and ordered through the touch screen. They had two humans working there. Took me 10+ minutes to get an order of fries. And it wasn't busy. Last time I'm going there.

When I was at uni many years ago a few friends worked at BK and if you went in when managers were not around much they would make you mushroom Swiss double whoppers

It’s Rome, clearly I had gelato in my hand already.

Anyone else find their order goes missing fairly regularly.

I'd say atleast 1 in 10 times if I didn't go up and ask for my order (a regular Latte) it wouldn't come.

9 of those 10 times it's sat there waiting for me.

I don't know how it happens but it's bloody frustrating.

I have that with the ones where they bring it to your car. I went in and asked where the order was and was told they couldn’t find me. I suggested maybe they look
in the car park space listed on the order!

I always walk into the restaurant sit down and order from the app. In the branches I go to I have never had a missed or lost order and I have never had to wait ages or get given cold food. Maybe I’m just lucky

Without fail any order I order for delivery will come cold, to the point that 15 mins after ordering I'll put the oven on. It's so annoying because I'd love to say I'll just never order it again, but things like the Grand Mac are just so damn good that sometimes I just need it in my life!

I've never had it with food orders, always when I'm at work and just want a coffee.

I wonder if drinks only fall through the gap sometimes because they are on the pass and people assume that there is food being prepared to add

The one in Lewisham (SE London) has gone really downhill. Full of delivery drivers pushing to the front, waving phones around and shouting/arguing. The order takes ages and is frequently wrong. Staff look over-worked and generally stressed out. It's just an unpleasant experience. I don't bother going any more.
