Been away for a cpl of days skiing.. Mountain food is prohibitively expensive, However some dishes needed to be eaten. Lunch obviously is a big feature of the day.
Day One
Starter. Morel Mushrooms in cream sauce with Crostini .. absolutely sumptuous rich and delicious.. however a bit pricey at 34 euro's
mains.
Chargrilled over a wood fired grill Lamb chops, cooked pink. just wonderful..
Day Two
Croque Monsieur for a 10am snack.. rich creamy and just what was needed after a hard night of drinking.. did struggle on the next run to hold it down..but managed to maintain my dignity..
Obligatory Hangover Hamburger.. Lashed with melting camembert, bit rich and actually beat me, had to scrap a bit off and breath evenly..
Made it to the end of the day, top of the last run.. sit watch the sun go down, two bottles of Rose and a gentle run down to the bar to watch the Rugby and get on it again...
